The military, and more specifically, the Marine Corps, is not what most people have pictured.  I have people come up to me in public saying, you're a Marine?  Fuck man, that's badass.  And the image in their head is Call of Duty, defending blown up tanks, draggin guys from crashed planes, kickin in doors and all that shit that I've been trained to do, but never will.  IT may be disappointing to realize that if your image of the military is full of grenades and fully automatic M16's. (BTW it's single shot and burst, and we never fire it in burst). A Typical work day for me involves waking up, shaving because if I don't I'll get bitched out.  

Got hope for today.  Woke up in a good mood.  Now let's go to work and see what happens.

For starters I know that NO ONE will read this.  I have very few friends on here, that's fine, I don't care.  I'm not even mad right now, just annoyed by every goddamn thing around me.  Here we go. I wake up here in the middle of the night, back stateside it's the middle of the day so naturally EVERYONE is online.  I flip through everyone's statuses on Facebook and come to a conclusion.  I hate all my friends.  Every status reads something like this, "Did a bunch of bullshit today/ last night, God my life is Wonderful!/Hard..."
